The sun is the star at the center of the solar system.

The sun spins on its axis from left to right. It takes about 26 days for the sun to spin one time.
It contains more than 99.8% of the total mass of the Solar System (Jupiter contains most of the rest).
There are nine planets and a large number of smaller objects orbiting the Sun, it calls satellites.

What is the sun temperature?

The Sun's temperature is 10,000 degrees Fahrenheit at the surface and 27,000,000 degrees Fahrenheit at the center.
The surface of the Sun, called the photosphere, is at a temperature of about 5800 K. Sunspots are "cool" regions, only 3800 K. Sunspots can be very large, as much as 50,000 km in diameter.

What is a sunspot?

It's A dark area on the Sun's surface that is cooler than the area around it. Sunspots are caused by magnetic storms on the Sun.

How far is the sun from the earth ?

The distance from the Earth to the Sun is 93,000,000 miles.
It takes light eight and a half minutes to travel from the Sun to the Earth.
The Sun is some 333,400 times more massive than Earth.
One million Earths could fit inside the sun.

How big is the sun ?

The diameter of the Sun is 870,000 miles, 109 times larger than the Earth's. Its volume is big enough to hold over 1 million Earths.
